half-hour documentary will be part of “Handmade in Mexico”, the 13-part
series on Mexican folk art. It follows the traditional cycle of this aromatic
commodity, from the hand pollination of the orchid’s flowers through the
meticulous drying of the fragrant vanilla beans. We will also look at the indigenous
Totonac culture that has lovingly grown this plant for centuries. |
